Sculptures of children made out of wool, run riot through a museum

Tomohiro Shibuki is an artist and textile designer from Japan who created this stunning installation of woollen child sculptures for last year’s Shinjuku Creators Festa, a sprawling celebration of creativity that brings art into the city’s office buildings, overpasses and public spaces.

Entitled ‘Freely’, the artwork shows a grow of laughing children running through an exhibition space, all made entirely out of wool. One even seems to have stumbled and lost one of his shoes. An incredible series of work by an artist that mainly uses felt and pattern design. You can discover more on his website.
