This Hungarian Fishing Lake Looks Frozen in Time

Situated within a Hungarian nature preserve just outside of a 2,500 person town called Sződliget; you will find a tiny fishing lake that was originally established as a sport fishing lake in 1949. [source]

The tiny lake features a number of fishing huts with bridges connecting to various parts of the lake. On calm and overcast days, the spot is a photographer’s dream. It’s moody, atmospheric and the reflections are breathtaking.

Slovakian photographer Viktor Egyed visited the fishing lake and shared his wonderful photos on Behance. To see the complete gallery in higher resolution, click here.
